Hello everyone, I have created a website that allows people to provide insight into economic development in Kitimat. No idea is too big nor too small to discuss. We try to keep the discussions positive, and create an atmosphere that promotes business in Kitimat. Feel free to comment on any of the posts.
The District of Kitimat Advisory Planning Commission is currently a member or two short. The Commission meet once a month on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.

This year with the launch of the Official Community Plan there will be huge opportunity to be involved. I’d be happy to extend the invitation if anyone is interested in attending a meeting to check it out and consider becoming part of the group or you can contact Gwen Sewell at the D of K offices.
It’s an opportunity to put ideas to action. Seems like there is some great energy here.

As much As I would like to attend, I don’t feel that I would be able to commit to the group. Spending half the year in Alberta, and the other half in Kitimat, it would be difficult to attend regularly. When I’m able to live in Kitimat full time, you can guarantee I will be an active voice in the community. Thanks again for the invitation.
